About Us
Dry Bulk Transportation
& Heavy Haul Trucking
A Rocky Mountain Company with a Soaring Future
First founded in 1946 by Ed Henry Burgener after he returned home from World War II where he served overseas, the company is well-known as the most reliable and trusted hauler of dry bulk materials in the Rocky Mountain region.
Your Trusted Dry Bulk Hauler: We Haul More, Efficiently
We currently have terminals in Colorado and Texas, where we serve customers across the entire Western U.S.
We promise practical solutions to get jobs just like yours done as quickly and efficiently as possible, with the best drivers out there.
“It’s a recognized name locally,” confirms company CEO David Schneider. “And our number one commitment is to get our customers’ jobs done right.”
“We like to say we deliver with a smile,” he continues. “We fully understand the scope of the work that needs to be done, and will complete it as it’s expected. We make sure all customers are taken care of right from the start.”
We give a whole new meaning to “We’ll go the extra mile”; we’ve even had equipment custom-built for our customers, and ensure we have the best of it – and the best drivers – to make the most of your budget and ensure your project is completed quickly and efficiently. We also offer competitive rates, and take pride in how we truly invest in our customers.
“It’s not so much that we invest in our equipment,” says Schneider, “we invest in our customers for a long-term partnership.”

About Us
Drive With the Best
With that in mind, we’ve set out to guarantee our truck drivers know just how appreciated they are, and offer some of the industry’s most competitive benefits package to make drivers know just how thankful we are.
We know our drivers have specialized skillsets, and we only hire the best of the best, so we want to make sure they have the resources they need to thrive on the road. Our competitive total compensation packages include health, vision and dental insurance, as well as employer’s contributions to 401K. We also offer detention pay and paid training.
Not only this, we promise drivers this: here, you’re more than just a number. And unlike other companies, we actually mean it!
“Dispatch knows everyone by their name,” says Schneider. “They’re not a truck number or employee number; everyone is known on a personal level. We don’t need their equipment number to know who they are. It is a team, and everyone helps out where they can to make it a fun place to work.”
We have an open-door policy many of our drivers take advantage of. “I have no trouble with anyone coming in my office,” says Schneider. “I want it to be a place people are proud to be at, and look forward to coming to work. I have had jobs where you dread it every day, and I don’t want that environment, I try to keep it light-hearted.”

On the fence about whether or not we’re the right fit for you?
Here’s our promise, plain and simple: we’ll take care of you.
“We take good care of our drivers and ensure they maintain a good work/life balance,” says Dan Logan, General Manager of Operations at Transpro Burgener.
But don’t take our word for it.
“The benefits here are amazing,” says truck driver Justin Crouch, “and the home/work balance is just incredible. And last, but not least, the pay is amazing for the area. From the top down, a company starts with good leadership, and when you have good people in upper management positions, it makes all the difference in the world where you’re just not another name to them.”
Fellow driver Josh Cornell agrees. “A lot of companies say, “You and your family are the most important thing to us,” and don’t mean it, but at Transpro, they actually mean it.”

Our Commitment to Safety
Our Commitment to Safety
With that in mind, we have invested in a lot of technology to coach our workforce. We say it in safety meetings, and we’ll say it here: we want our good drivers to be great, and we’ll stop at nothing to make sure that happens.
“We go above what is required in the industry,” says Schneider. “For example, we conduct safety meetings monthly, and our hiring standards are much higher than regular trucking companies.”
Our employees are our most values assets and their safety and health are our priority. Here’s how we make sure safety remains top of mind at all times and that our drivers truly are the best in the business:
- Monthly safety meetings
- Lytx dash cams
- Corrective action
- Regular coaching
- Drivers have stop work authority to report hazards/prevent incidents
